If you enjoyed the clinic at the last meet up, great! If you participated and benefitted from it, even better. We’ll be doing it again next month.
However, we recognise the limitations of the MWUG clinics in terms of time and expertise on the night. We also know that many of you are experiencing the frustrations of just trying to get your WP and, for many, marketing stuff done.
WP Velocity Live WordPress Clinics
To that end, Saz and I have collaborated to launch our WP Clinics. They are aimed at WordPress users who don’t want to get too ‘under the hood’ but need to resolve barriers to site changes or updates and progress their project. We will help you gain confidence as the owner and captain of your ship for cost management and marketing purposes, and keep your project moving forward.
So we have two invitations for you……
Join us at our first WordPress Clinic Live in Manchester on Saturday April 4th:
Grab all the details and register here. Places are very strictly limited to 12 so don’t delay.
As a thank you for your support on our first ever event we have a very special quick movers offer; a free ticket ticket worth £297 to attend Power to Achieve – Join Saz and a small exclusive group on a weekend of transformational training for entrepreneurs (dates for November are yet to be released). We have 3 tickets to give away to the first 3 people who register for WP Velocity Live. Grab them quickly. When they’re gone, they’re gone!

With only a few weeks before WordCamp Manchester, the team has decided to move the Call for Speakers submission date forward to the 31st May.
This is to ensure that we have enough time to contact all the speakers and publicise the talks ahead of the camp.
Apologies to anyone who was planning to submit in June but hopefully we’ve given you enough notice to get your talks submitted!
Remember we are interesting in all topics and if you are not sure of what talk to give, there are some ideas on our Call for Speakers page!

Who likes cake? Who likes WordPress? Who wants to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of WordPress with cake?
My company, Code For The People, and Human Made (from over the hills in Derbyshire), and possibly some others from west of Manchester are putting on a WordPress 10th Anniversary party, with the one, the only, Mike Little, WordPress co-founder, at The Function Room, upstairs in Odder Bar on Oxford Rd, Manchester on Monday 27th May.
We’d love to see as many of the Manchester WordPress User Group members as can come, and other WordPress users of course, so please RSVP on the Meetup page here.
So far our plans involve food, drinks, cake… and we’re working on other activities (suggestions welcome).
Hopefully see you there!
